In the next couple of days the University will finish its Fall semester and we shall begin a well-earned Christmas break.
Many of us will be traveling, and the current forecast is for some heavy rain in the next two days. Please take care in all your travels.
Christmas time with loved ones is an opportunity to remember the priorities and blessings of life. There is light in the darkness of winter, and it is my hope is that we each experience that light in our own unique way during this break. When we return we will continue the educational journey of enlightening our students, as represented in our MGA torch crest.
Thank you for what you have done to complete an amazing year of tremendous success here at MGA. We have had a wonderful 2018 year as an institution of higher learning. We have now earned a short break from our work. You have my gratitude for all you have accomplished, my gratitude to serve as your president and my gratitude to count you as colleagues. When we return in January we will then re-engage with our students to begin what no doubt will be another outstanding year in 2019 for all our students, faculty, staff and trustees.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
