To the MGA Campus Community,
On this day ten years ago, our institution achieved a milestone that transformed our identity and elevated our mission — we became Middle Georgia State University. As we mark the 10th anniversary of our designation as a state university, I’d like to share some personal reflections on this historic milestone and what it means for our MGA community and the region we serve.
As we head into the Independence Day holiday break, it's fitting to reflect on what this day represents — the courage to blaze trails, the vision to build something greater, and the determination to overcome challenges. These same principles have guided our University’s journey over the past decade. This 4th of July we celebrate how far we’ve come and look forward with excitement to all that lies ahead.
