Happy Holidays!

Greetings, Knight Community!

The Holiday season is a time to join with friends and family in caring and celebration. Our traditions may look different, but we share in placing a priority on what brings meaning to our lives.

As this year draws to an end, it is important that I take a moment to reflect on the past year in this incredible learning community. Engaging with each other again became a renewed priority, which strengthened our lives and our work.

To our students, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your president. Your adaptability, one of our core values, inspires me daily. This was made even more evident by our graduates this year who persisted in earning their degrees in the face of disruption caused by a pandemic. I thank you for choosing MGA and trusting us to deliver an education worthy your time and effort.

To our faculty and staff, I am energized by your dedication and hard work, which I continue to see demonstrated regularly. You adapted like no other workforce in our lifetime – across campuses and modes of learning. I am proud of your enduring commitment to our students and for all we have accomplished together.

To our alumni and supporters, I am humbled by your generosity and support of our mission to educate and graduate inspired, lifelong learners who enhance our region. Through your giving, you embody our core value of stewardship – providing new resources to students, which ensures they thrive.

I look to the coming year with confidence, as we again commit ourselves to serving the common good. With our access and affordability, we will continue to deliver on our vision to provide opportunities that transform individuals and their communities through extraordinary higher learning.

For now, MGA family, I hope you enjoy this pause in our studies and work, and make the opportunity to be fully present with your loved ones.

This is a time of celebration and one that celebrates the learning we are engaged in. It is in this spirit that Melody and I wish you joy and peace now - and many blessings in the new year!

Happy Holidays!
